How I Spend My Days in Quarantine

During these hard times, I like to stay home as we all should and spend time with myself. I have found myself relaxing from the busy schedule we had and to focusing more on myself and what I wanted to do. So, I started focusing on who I am. What I wanted to do. I must say that it isn’t easy to stay locked inside all the time but I do invest my time in going out for a walk in the forest or to the lake. That makes things better and somewhat easier. It gives me time to think.
A typical day for me would be to wake up around 9-10 and start my day. I have found myself making healthier breakfast options. So, I tend to have a nice breakfast until maybe 11 since I watch some videos while eating. It depends. Later on, if I don’t have stuff like laundry to do, I like to go back and make my bed and think about what to do next. Usually, I take some pills I need to take, have my cup of tea and bottle of water ready by this time. I first like to put on my headphones and really focus on music and new genders. I love music and I am extremely dedicated to music, so I try to start my day like that. I think it’s one of the greatest ways to start your day.
Another thing I do is, start doing my schoolwork. It is not a holiday so we are still catching up with school or any meetings we might have. It is fun to do that and just keeping in touch with friends. By this time, it might get boring but thanks to the media, I just hang out on YouTube or Netflix. Along this, I get calls from my parents and family members. I like to have some healthy but light snacks while I am working so I usually skip lunch and have a fruit or yogurt. I try to drink as much as water and tea as I can to keep hydrated.
Around dinner time, I make some food and I’m ready to watch something on Netflix. It is nice to just relax, be calm, and not worry about anything since you have the whole day to yourself to work on stuff and sort things out. Although I must say that it is hard because during quarantine, you kind of loose track of time. So, night becomes morning and you can’t sleep or morning becomes night. That’s the hardest part. Also, even if you are out for a walk, you sort of get paranoid over the whole epidemic.
After dinner and doing a bit of more work, I like to call my parents as we do like a family gathering and sometimes even have group chats with other relatives. It is quite fun and we talk about our days. After that, I like to work on any left stuff or if I don’t have any, I like to enjoy myself with music as I dance around.
That’s my quarantine routine!
