SANTA CLAUS IS REAL! (LAPLAND DAY 2)

On the second day of our trip to Lapland, we visited Santa Claus Village! Now I must say that I was pretty excited for this place since I had done research months and months ago, so I had an idea of what was coming up. I also was so ready to take some amazing photos! We got off the bus and went straight into Santa’s Post Office where we could buy souveniours alongside sending some postcards to family and friends. I personally loved it since there were very cute prodcuts and the people working there were dressed up as elfs. They looked amazing and were so kind! Other than that, there were a lot of building over there so we decided to go in all of them with my friends and mainly figured out that they were just other mini shops! I also must say that I loved Santa’s Salmon Restaurant since it had a very different design and looked extremely cool! Me and my friends were kind of all over the place so we decided to meet up at the Arctic Circle and took a bunch of fun photos, boomerangs and videos there which was fun! Also, I had bought a ticket to go on the reindeer ride and that was amazing! The reindeers were so cute and it was such a nice view to see while riding in the sleigh! But I must point out that at the end of that, I was freezing! It was so cold! So we had to go indoors! We headed straight off to see Santa Claus himself!
As a child, I’ve always loved and believed in the magic of Santa, so I loved how the building was designed as if it was telling a story and there were very cute details until you would finally reach Santa. I don’t know why but I was quite calm until I heard his voice and even as a 20 year old, I was so excited! I didn’t know how to act or even where to put my hands to when we entered to meet him! He was so nice and even sayed ‘’Merhaba’’ which means ‘’Hello’’ in my language and we sat down and he asked what we were doing and studying and we also got to take photos! I’ve never seen such a magical Santa and his beard was so long! He was for sure the real Santa! Unfortunately we said goodbye but we got to keep our photos and videos! But we were a little late for the bus so we took off running and hopped on, ready for more magic that was awaiting us!
